Criteria for Education Grant Applications

1. Applicants must be of Tai Tokerau descent

2. Applicants must be a beneficiary of Tai Tokerau Māori Trust Board (Note: completed Beneficiary Application Forms may accompany Education Grant Application Forms)

3. Applicants must be undertaking full time tertiary studies through University, Wānanga, Uni-tech, or a similar tertiary provider.

4. Applicants may also be undertaking Trade Certificate training (i.e. Trade Apprenticeships).

5. Applicants must be in their 2nd year (or higher) of their study programme.

6. Applicants must attach the following to their application form

• Personal Profile

• Academic Profile

• Previous years exam results, grades

• Two written references

• Kaumatua/Kuia verification

• Academic Registrar declaration

• Tertiary Education Funding Agreement

Please ensure application forms are completed in detail:

• Do not write "refer to" in sections

• Please fill in every section in detail

Applications open 26th February, closing date: 12 midnight, 13th May 2024.

Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
